February 24th, "Agricultural Products Wholesale Price 200 Index" decreased by 1.05 points compared to before the holiday

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs website, based on monitoring by the Ministry, on February 24, the “Agricultural Product Wholesale Price Index 200” was 128.51, down 1.05 points compared to before the holiday (January 14). The wholesale price index for “vegetable basket” products was 131.19, down 1.21 points compared to before the holiday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national wholesale markets was 18.15 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.2% compared to before the holiday; beef was 65.76 yuan/kg, down 0.6%; lamb was 65.22 yuan/kg, down 0.5%; eggs were 7.92 yuan/kg, down 2.5%; and whole chickens were 17.52 yuan/kg, up 1.3%. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.45 yuan/kg, down 2.3%; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 8.10 yuan/kg, up 1.5%. Crucian carp was 20.03 yuan/kg, up 0.2%; carp was 14.85 yuan/kg, up 0.7%; white bighead carp was 10.70 yuan/kg, up 1.3%; large hairtail was 43.51 yuan/kg, down 2.4%.

Today, among the 46 key monitored fresh agricultural products in domestic wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared to before the holiday are bighead carp, lotus root, cauliflower, garlic scapes, and white radish, with increases of 7.3%, 6.2%, 4.6%, 4.0%, and 2.8%, respectively. The top five price decreases are zucchini, eggplant, tomato, yellow croaker, and spinach, with decreases of 14.4%, 10.4%, 10.3%, 7.9%, and 6.5%, respectively.
