IT Home, February 25 — According to Bloomberg today, sources familiar with the matter revealed that Unity Software is considering various options for its China operations, including the possible sale of its China business.
The report states that this San Francisco-based 3D gaming company is working with an advisor to evaluate potential interest in Unity China. According to sources, Unity Software may be seeking a valuation of over $1 billion (IT Home note: approximately 6.889 billion RMB at current exchange rates) for its China business.
The report mentions that negotiations are still ongoing and no final agreement has been reached. A Unity official declined to comment.
Unity Software’s stock price has fallen more than 60% this year, erasing its gains for 2025.
