As of the latest report, Country Garden (02007) rose 6.45% to HKD 0.33; CIFI International Holdings (01908) increased 5.59% to HKD 15.67; CIFI Holdings (00884) up 4.82% to HKD 0.087; and Longfor Group (00960) up 4.49% to HKD 10.23.

Tianfeng Securities released a research report stating that due to the Spring Festival holiday, both supply and demand in the real estate market have entered the traditional off-season, with the transaction volume of commercial housing in 30 major cities seasonally declining. Before the holiday, local two sessions deployed policies to “stabilize the housing market,” with many regions explicitly aiming to stabilize the real estate market and promote urban renewal. Efforts are focused on stabilizing the market and optimizing existing stock. After the holiday, attention will be on the recovery pace of real estate sales in late February and the policy tone of the national two sessions in early March.

BOC International believes that the real estate industry still faces certain pressures. Preventing risks related to real estate remains the top priority. Market inertia and the spreading bearish expectations may also force policies to be introduced more quickly. Looking at the full year of 2026, there are greater opportunities for returns in the real estate sector. It is recommended to focus on and allocate to this sector. In terms of timing, there may be two turning points: one around the end of the first quarter, known as the “policy inflection point,” and another around the fourth quarter, the “fundamentals inflection point.”
