Spot gold drops about 1.5%, silver falls 1.1%, and New York copper futures rise 2%

Gelonghui February 25 | Tuesday (February 24) New York late trading, spot gold fell 1.49% to $5149.92 per ounce, opening a decline before 09:00 Beijing time, mostly stabilizing around $5160 during the day. COMEX gold futures fell 1.12% to $5166.90 per ounce. Spot silver fell 1.12% to $87.2078 per ounce. COMEX silver futures rose 0.57% to $87.695 per ounce. COMEX copper futures rose 2.05% to $5.9610 per pound. Spot platinum rose 1.00%, spot palladium rose 2.32%.
