Anthropic made waves last month with the launch of Claude Cowork, hitting software share prices as investors faced up to AI’s potential to kill off entire businesses.
Now, the company has introduced customisable plugins designed to help enterprises customise Claude, turning the model into specialised agents “for every role and department”.
Financial services dominate the plugins - a financial analysis tool promises to help with market and competitive research to financial modelling and PowerPoint template creation and quality checking.
Another for investment banking will help with reviewing transaction documents, building comparable company analyses, and preparing pitch materials. For equity research, a plugin will work on parsing earnings transcripts, updating financial models with new guidance, and drafting research notes.
The private equity plugin aims to support deal sourcing and diligence by reviewing large document sets, extracting standardised financial data, modelling scenarios, and scoring opportunities against investment criteria. Finally, the wealth management offering helps advisors analyse portfolios, identify drift and tax exposure, and generate rebalancing recommendations at scale.
Anthropic clients can also now connect Claude Cowork to existing tools such as Google Drive, Gmail, DocuSign and FactSet to help them “move faster across tools, not replace the expertise or software” they already rely on.
