Spanish startup Multiverse Computing is leveraging its compression technology CompactifAI to address the issues of large size and high costs of cutting-edge AI models. The company has released a free updated version of the HyperNova 60B model, which is about half the size of OpenAI's gpt-oss-120B model, with lower memory usage and latency. Multiverse's clients include Iberdrola and Bosch. It is reported that the company is raising over €150 million at a valuation of more than €1.5 billion, positioning itself as an autonomous AI solutions provider.
