Liu Deshun, Chief Engineer of the National Energy Administration and Director of the Department of Energy Conservation and Science & Technology Equipment, stated that by 2026, the development of the new energy system will coordinate the promotion of the new energy storage industry, scientifically plan the scale and layout of new energy storage development, expand innovative applications of new energy storage across multiple scenarios and technical routes, and promote the shift of new energy storage development from policy guidance to market-driven.
