CoinWorld.net February 24 News, according to DL News reports, the South Korean prosecutors have charged a 39-year-old man with attempting to murder his business partner using highly toxic pesticides after a failed approximately $810,000 cryptocurrency investment conducted in secret. The two have been collaborating on Bitcoin investment projects and co-founding a company since 2022, but conflicts arose after the suspect unilaterally used company funds. Prosecutors state that the suspect planned to murder to gain exclusive control of the company, purchasing about $200 worth of banned pesticide甲氨酰 from an online seller in October last year, and adding it to an iced latte at a Seoul café to give to the victim. After drinking it, the victim collapsed and fell into a coma, requiring a ventilator to stay alive, and regained consciousness three days later. The suspect has been charged with attempted murder and violating the Pesticide Management Act. The case will be heard on March 10.
