Trina Solar announced that on February 5, 2026, the company responded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange E-Interaction platform to an investor question regarding whether the company has a partnership with SpaceX. To protect the legitimate rights and interests of investors, the company provided additional clarification on related business activities. After verification, from 2010 to 2018, the company supplied a total of 775MW of modules to North American customers Tesla Motors and its predecessor SolarCity. Since then, the company has not engaged in any business cooperation with them. As of now, the company has not conducted any cooperation with SpaceX, nor has it signed any framework or formal agreements, and there are no orders on hand. Currently, the company’s photovoltaic module products are mainly used in ground photovoltaic fields, and the main application scenarios have not undergone significant changes.
