Korean man poisons business partner due to cryptocurrency investment failure

Deep Tide TechFlow News, February 24, According to DLNews, the Korean prosecutors have charged a 39-year-old man with attempting to murder his business partner after failing to secretly use company funds to invest in cryptocurrencies. Reportedly, the suspect purchased banned insecticide methomyl from an online seller in China and added it to the victim’s iced latte. The victim immediately fainted after drinking it at a cafe in Seoul and was hospitalized in a coma for three days. The man faces charges of attempted murder and violation of Korea’s pesticide management law. The case will be heard at the Seoul Eastern District Court on March 10.
