Greece Launches "Lighthouse" Project to Promote Artificial Intelligence Development
Greek government officials announced on the 19th that Greece’s artificial intelligence platform project “Lighthouse” will be fully operational in the first quarter of 2026. The project aims to provide computing power, data, and technical support to startups, universities, and research institutions to promote AI innovation and development. Greece’s “Lighthouse” project is part of the EU’s 2024 “AI Factory” network and is one of 13 “AI Factory” projects selected by the European Union in Europe. (Xinhua)
