The business confidence indicator in the Czech Republic rose to 99.8 in February 2026 from 98.6 in the previous month. Most key sectors saw positive momentum, led by the industrial sector, where confidence increased sharply to 97.5 from 92, supported by a rise in finished product inventories, while optimism in the construction sector also strengthened to 116.1 from 112. In addition, the trade sector remained stable at 96.8, unchanged from January. On the other hand, sentiment in selected services fell to a ten-month low, slipping to 100.9 from 104.2, reflecting heightened concerns among service providers.
