Abstract generation in progress

The consumer confidence indicator in the Czech Republic dropped to 107.6 in February 2026 from 108.2 in the previous month. This marked the lowest reading since October 2025, as the number of consumers expecting a deterioration in the overall economic situation in the Czech Republic over the next twelve months and the share of respondents who assess their current financial situation as worse than in the previous twelve months decreased slightly. Additionally, the number of households expecting an improvement in their financial situation over the next twelve months decreased, while the share of respondents who do not plan to make large purchases in the next twelve months remained almost unchanged month-on-month.
