Canaan Inc. has acquired a 49% stake in a joint venture from Cipher Mining, which includes three operational mining projects in Texas.
💨 The projects have a capacity of 120 MW and provide a total hash rate of approximately 4.4 EH/s.
As part of the deal, Cipher will receive 806.4 million Canaan shares, equivalent to approximately $40 million.
