Today, the Civil Aviation Administration reported that during the 2026 Spring Festival holiday (February 15 to 23, 2026, a total of 9 days), the total number of passengers transported nationwide by civil aviation reached 22.05 million, with an average of 2.45 million per day, a 7.7% increase compared to the same period in 2025 Spring Festival travel (January 27 to February 4, 2025, a total of 9 days). A total of 171,000 flights were operated, averaging 18,956 flights per day, a 4.4% increase from the same period in 2025 (average 18,154 flights). The on-time flight rate was 95.8%, up 0.6 percentage points from 95.2% during the same period in 2025 Spring Festival travel. (CCTV News)
