The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology recently released the “Manufacturing Digital Transformation Development Report (2025),” which shows that currently, the breadth of digital transformation in China’s manufacturing industry has significantly increased, entering a stage of large-scale popularization. As of December 2025, 89.6% of industrial enterprises above designated size nationwide have carried out digital transformation, and the digital equipment penetration rate has reached 57.7%.
