$ZEC Techub News: Zashi will be renamed Zodl in the upcoming app update. This rebranding will not affect the user experience. Users do not need to download a new app, change their seed phrases, or transfer funds; they can continue using Zashi as usual. The official statement says that the team behind this rebranding is a new company formed by all members of Electric Coin Company (ECC) after leaving ECC in January 2026. The new company is named Zcash Open Development Lab (ZODL), and the flagship wallet for Zcash has been renamed Zodl. It will no longer rely on the Zcash Development Fund, but engineers and product teams are still actively working on the project.
