The BNB Chain Foundation spent USD 1 each to buy $1, $EGL1, and $memes , each worth 33,000 USD, suspected to be the winning projects of the USD1 trading competition. First, let's talk about $EGL1. This thing is definitely a relic of the Ming Dynasty, using last round's old narrative to hard-continue its life, each time it’s awkward. I can barely understand $memes , at least it fits the current aesthetic of low control + PVE + emotional flow, so choosing it isn't completely unreasonable. But what exactly is $1?? If the narrative is neither narrative nor structural, and it’s just being promoted as a “demonstration project,” it really makes no sense. If this is truly the “answer” given by the official, then it can only be said that the USD1 competition itself already raises questions. Highlighting these projects as demonstrations—what does that have to do with seriously developing the ecosystem? @cz_ @heyi @nina_rong
