Recently, the market has been fluctuating back and forth, and I actually don't want to deal with contracts anymore; the emotional toll is a bit heavy.
So I switched to trading ETFs on Gate.
The biggest feeling I have after using it is peace of mind.
No need to calculate margin, and no need to watch out for forced liquidation,
It's like spot trading—just click buy or sell, but with a 3L / 5L momentum bonus.
I usually only use it when the direction is quite clear,
For example, after a breakout followed by a pullback, or confirming a rebound before going up.
If things don't go smoothly, I just close the position directly; I generally avoid trading during sideways movements.
Of course, there is also the issue of wear and tear, so I won't hold it long-term.
More often, I treat it as a short-term trend-following tool.
For me, it's much more comfortable than constantly watching contracts,
At least it keeps my mindset more stable during operations.
I've been using it recently and just wanted to record my experience.
