Why are X's Smart Asset Tags an Important Opportunity for the Solana Ecosystem?
On January 11, Nikita Bier, Head of X Product and Solana Ecosystem Advisor, announced that X is developing the Smart Cashtags feature, allowing users to tag assets/contracts within tweets to directly view real-time prices and related information. The feature will be gradually rolled out next month.
As a function led by Solana ecosystem advisors, this update will bring two core values to the Solana ecosystem:
1. Traffic Entry Upgrade: On-chain assets on Solana can be visualized through X's smart tags, reaching a vast global user base;
2. Lowering the Cognitive Threshold: Ordinary users can access Solana asset data within X without switching to external platforms, accelerating ecosystem adoption.
