Bitcoin mining company Cipher Mining has appointed former Texas Blockchain Committee founder and chairman Lee Pratcher as Director of Policy and Government Affairs, and Drew Armstrong, former President of Cathedra Bitcoin, as Director of Strategic Planning. These appointments aim to support Cipher in expanding regulatory collaboration and high-performance computing projects ( including AI workloads ), to diversify its business and not rely solely on Bitcoin mining.
