What to do if your contract is trapped? Many people's first reaction is—"Can it be resolved?"
But I want to say, asking this question, you've already lost. In the crypto world, it's not the wrong direction that’s scary, but stubbornly holding on.
Most people get trapped not because they misjudged the market, but because they can't bear to admit they were wrong.
Watching unrealized losses go from 10% to 50%,
they still think:
"Wait a bit longer, maybe it will rebound."
But the market never shows mercy,
it won't give you another chance just because you have a little margin left.
I've seen too many brothers,
who could have fully exited with a small loss,
but insist on "waiting and seeing";
the result is not only losing all the principal but also losing confidence.
Actually, you think it's "waiting for the market,"
but in the market's eyes, that's called "paying tuition."
I've experienced this pain myself.
When I first started trading contracts, I was caught in a long position,
I stubbornly held on for three days and three nights, and finally got liquidated.
Staring at that zeroing warning, I was completely stunned.
Later I understood:
Losses are not scary; what's scary is refusing to admit the loss.
Real experts don't ask "Can I resolve this?",
but ask themselves: "Next time, can I avoid getting trapped?"
They set stop-loss orders early, cut losses when wrong,
even if swept out several times, they won't let systemic risk explode.
They understand—living is more important than being right.
The contract market is never a game of guessing rise or fall,
but an arena of "risk control."
Those who know how to stop-loss will always have the next opportunity;
those who stubbornly hold on will always die in hope.
Now I’ve come out, what about you?
Ask yourself, are you willing to be a lifetime chives? Or do you want to be the last winner who laughs?
