My Web3 gratitude moment was during the coldest time of the Bear Market in 2023:

That day I had less than 50U left in my wallet, and I couldn't bring myself to pay the Gas fee, I was about to completely give up on DeFi. Suddenly, a complete stranger (we had only followed each other on Twitter for a few days) DM'd me: "Dude, I saw you asking about Yield Farming recently, I've been running this strategy for half a year, let me take a look at your position?" He spent a full two hours helping me analyze, sentence by sentence, why my LP was experiencing impermanent loss, why the pool I chose was facing slippage, and why I was always buying high and selling low. In the end, he directly sent me his Google Sheet template and added me to a small group of only 12 people, saying, "Everyone here is a retail investor doing their own research, no big names or KOLs, let's survive together."

That day I didn't make any money, but for the first time I felt that Web3 is not just about cold, hard numbers and harvesting, but that there are really people willing to selflessly share their blood, sweat, and tears experiences with a stranger who is about to leave the space.

Later, I relied on that template and that small group to slowly roll my funds from 50U to four digits, and now I can hold them long-term with peace of mind. I still do not know the true identity of that big brother, only that he goes by "Chen Jiao Shou" on Twitter.

So the moment I am most grateful for is when, in my most desperate times, Web3 told me: it turns out there is warmth and light here too.
