Wisdomtree collaborates with BNY Mellon to advance on-chain banking operations.
1. Wisdomtree (NYSE: WT) announced on October 28 that it has selected Bank of New York Mellon (NYSE: BK) as the core BaaS provider for its digital asset platform Wisdomtree Prime, becoming BNY's first retail digital asset BaaS client.
2. After cooperation, users can access Wisdomtree's tokenized assets (such as digital funds, on-chain gold) and realize the "boarding and alighting" function between traditional banks and blockchain systems through BNY.
3. Jennifer Barker, head of BNY, stated that they will leverage their own infrastructure to facilitate the integration of digital assets with traditional finance; this collaboration has deepened, as BNY had previously provided services such as fund custody and USDW stablecoin reserve custody for Wisdomtree.
4. This cooperation reflects the recognition of tokenized assets by mainstream institutions, accelerating the integration of traditional finance and blockchain, and laying the foundation for on-chain investment and digital financial transformation.
