Analyst: Ethereum stake ETH final approval is expected
Advance to October 2025
According to Jinse Finance, the Ethereum ( ETH ) staking entry queue has dropped to its lowest level in four weeks, raising concerns in the market about a potential large-scale sell-off due to a surge in exits from the queue. The market has observed that the continuous accumulation and buying of Ethereum's treasury and spot ETH ETFs are absorbing the selling pressure, as most of these institutions have already staked or plan to stake assets for additional income, which may drive an increase in the staking entry queue in the coming weeks. Another positive expectation is the potential launch of ETH staking ETFs, which means some investors may release liquidity and re-enter related products in the future to adjust their market exposure instead of completely exiting the ETH market. The final approval deadline from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ( SEC ) is April 2026, and analyst Axel Bitblaze stated that approval is expected to come as early as October 2025. He added, "BlackRock's ETH staking approval has a next deadline in October, and I believe approval is likely to happen."
