After 3 years of experience, I have established 6 iron rules. Understanding one can help you lose 100,000 less, and following three can exceed 99% of retail investors:
Iron Rule One: Don't panic during rapid rises and slow falls.
After a rapid surge followed by a slow decline, it is the market makers washing out and accumulating stocks, don't rush to get off. But after a sharp rise in volume followed by a straight drop, it is a bait and kill scheme, you must run quickly!
Iron Rule Two: Don't touch rapid declines and slow rises.
After the price flash crash and weak rebound, it is a trap set by the market makers to lure in buyers for offloading. Do not attempt to catch the bottom; this is a trap.
Rule Three: Look at the volume at the top
High volume continues at a high level, it may surge again; if the trading volume goes dead, it will definitely crash, so run quickly.
Rule Four: Look for sustainability at the bottom
A single volume spike is a bait; only after several days of continuous volume spikes followed by a contraction and consolidation can we see a real signal for building a position.
Rule Five: Volume is Key
Don't fixate on candlestick charts; trading volume is the emotional mirror: increasing volume during a rise indicates consensus driving the price up, while increasing volume during a decline indicates panic selling. Understanding volume allows you to grasp price fluctuations.
Iron Rule Six: Three No-Mind Methods
No obsession: It's important to stay in cash when necessary, waiting is more important than forcing a fight;
No Greed: Don't chase highs, maintain the rhythm;
No fear: take the plunge and go all in, opportunities lie where others are afraid.
This is the anti-human survival law; only by achieving it can one truly enjoy the benefits.
The market is not short of opportunities; what is lacking is determination and insight. The pitfalls I encountered will serve as your guiding light; keep up with the rhythm, and next time it will be you who reaps the rewards.
It is difficult to fight alone; you need to catch the signal accurately to buy at the bottom. Don't miss this big market wave!
