Charles Schwab: Federal Reserve decision is a short-term positive for risk assets, but volatility remains high

ChainCatcher reports that, according to Jinjishu, Charles Schwab analyst Richard Flynn stated that the Federal Reserve is sending a cautious signal through preemptive actions, especially amid sluggish global growth and ongoing policy uncertainties. This rate cut may provide short-term support for risk assets and boost the seasonal "Santa Claus rally," but the market still needs to assess its impact on future policies and economic outlooks, with volatility expected to remain high.

Ethereum Privacy Upgrade: ZKSS protocol makes on-chain transactions like a "Secret Santa" game

Ethereum is ushering in a privacy revolution, with the zero-knowledge secret Santa (ZKSS) protocol released by Distributed Lab, which ensures transaction confidentiality while verifying transaction validity. This protocol uses zk-SNARKs to hide the identities of the sender and receiver, while addressing issues of double voting and insufficient randomness, achieving on-chain private transactions. The working mechanism of ZKSS is similar to the secret Santa game: participants submit anonymous random values for gift distribution, and transactions are verified while maintaining privacy. This process combines hash functions, ECDSA signatures, and Merkle proofs to ensure that operations are secure and tamper-proof. Enterprises and institutions can conduct confidential transactions through this protocol while retaining audit trails, reducing the risk of supply chain and financial information being disclosed.

Ethereum developers promote zero-knowledge "Secret Santa" system to enhance on-chain privacy.

Ethereum developers are advancing a zero-knowledge protocol aimed at enhancing the privacy of on-chain interactions. The first application of this protocol is a "Secret Santa" matching system, where participants can randomly exchange gifts anonymously, laying the groundwork for broader private coordination tools in the future. Solidity engineer Artem Chystiakov shared related research on the Ethereum community forum, and he first published the results on arXiv in January of this year. The scheme allows participants to register Ethereum addresses and verify the relationship between sender and receiver through zero-knowledge proofs without revealing their identities. At the same time, transaction relayers are used to submit transactions, avoiding the association of personal wallets with operations, thus ensuring anonymity.

Polish encryption analyst apologizes for failing to predict Bitcoin's "Santa Rally" market.

Robert Ruszała, a well-known Polish market analyst known as "El Profesor," publicly apologized, admitting that his Bitcoin prediction plan was incorrect, and released a detailed analytical report explaining the reasons for his prediction failure. He initially released a forecast report titled "The Plan," which depicted a Bitcoin upward trajectory based on market fractals, the 50-week moving average, and the seasonal fluctuations commonly referred to as the "Santa Rally." According to his model, Bitcoin is expected to maintain an upward trend and provide long opportunities at specific technical levels. However, the market negated this prediction in just three weeks. Bitcoin fell below a key area, completely overturning the previous upward structure.
