Gate News: On March 17, the UK High Court issued a judicial ruling on March 10, establishing the phased leading law firm, registration system, and key timetable for the $60,000 BTC money laundering case involving Qian Zhiming. The case has entered a stage with a clear schedule for progress. According to Caixin, this ruling is procedural and does not address substantive issues such as asset ownership. The ruling appointed UK law firm Fieldfisher as the phased lead counsel for all 281 applicants. Fieldfisher will represent all 281 applicants in the upcoming “Applicable Law Issues” hearing in July 2026, issuing instructions to the court-appointed barristers for unified statements and debates. Tianjin Lantian Grey Company (through the litigation receiver) is not included in this representation. Additionally, the UK High Court also ruled that the phased lead law firm shall establish and maintain an official register of the 281 applicants. The register will be submitted to the court by the phased lead law firm and shared with the UK prosecution and relevant legal teams.
