The largest on-chain WTI crude oil short position increased by $15.6 million last night and this morning, bringing the total position to $24.3 million.

Gate News Report, March 11 — According to Hyperinsight monitoring, on the night of March 10 and early morning of March 11, on-chain address 0x17c… continuously rolled over its WTI crude oil (West Texas Intermediate futures) short positions. It increased its short holdings by approximately 190,006 CL contracts, with a total value of about $15.6 million. As of the past hour, this address’s 3x leveraged CL short position has reached $24.3 million, with an average price of $83.5, a liquidation price of $110, and an unrealized profit of $150,000 (1.7%). It is currently the largest on-chain holder of CL shorts. Previously, over the past 24 hours, this address transferred in a total of $11.5 million and used most of the funds to add to its crude oil short positions. Additionally, the address also holds a 3x leveraged NATGAS (natural gas) short position, totaling $1.43 million.
