Supreme People's Procuratorate Report: 3,259 People Prosecuted for Money Laundering Crimes Using Virtual Currency and Others Starting in 2025

Gate News reports that on March 10, Prosecutor General Yin Yong of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate delivered a work report to the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress. The report states that by 2025, prosecutorial agencies will intensify efforts to combat money laundering, prosecuting 3,259 individuals involved in crimes such as virtual currencies and underground banks. At the same time, efforts will be made to依法惩治电信网络诈骗犯罪,起诉6.9万人。
