Nasdaq-listed company Cypherpunk invests $5 million in Zcash Development Laboratory

Gate News Report, March 9 — Nasdaq-listed company Cypherpunk Technologies announced a $5 million investment in Zcash Open Development Lab (ZODL), marking the company’s first technical investment outside of ZEC. ZODL was founded by former Electric Coin Company (ECC) CEO Josh Swihart and currently owns Zashi wallet technology and related intellectual property. The lab is dedicated to ongoing development of wallet products and providing protocol-level support for Zcash.
