Gate News reports that on March 5th, U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin stated that military actions against Iran will be further escalated, with a significant increase in firepower strikes over Tehran. Austin said the U.S. military will deploy more fighter squadrons, enhance combat and defense capabilities, and increase bomber sorties, but did not disclose specific military details. He mentioned that in the coming period, firepower strikes against Iran and its capital Tehran will “significantly increase,” and that U.S. forces are gaining support from more overseas bases.
