Three Core Sources of Points

Gate Futures Points are awarded through three primary channels:

1. Trading Volume Points

The more frequently you trade each day, the greater your rewards:

• Earn 1 point for every 400 USDT in trading volume
• Both opening and closing trades count toward the total
• No daily cap—active users can accumulate maximum daily points accumulation

Consistent trading activity can lead to ongoing rewards, as every transaction becomes a source of long-term returns.

2. Balance Snapshot Points

The system automatically takes a daily snapshot of your account balance (including spot assets in unified accounts) and awards fixed points based on your asset level:

• $100 ≤ Balance < $1,000: 1 point/day
• $1,000 ≤ Balance < $10,000: 2 points/day
• $10,000 ≤ Balance < $100,000: 3 points/day
• ≥ $100,000: 4 points/day

(Note: Funds in Earn accounts are excluded from snapshots.)

3. Invite Friends Bonus

Earn points by inviting friends to participate in futures trading:

• Invite 1 friend: 1 point
• Invite 2 friends: 2 points
• Invite 3 or more friends: 3 points

Invitations are only valid if the invited user accumulates at least 2 points.

Points Redemption and Usage

Points Rules and Validity Period

To ensure fairness and liquidity, Gate has established clear rules:

• Points validity: Points remain valid for 15 days from issuance and will automatically expire afterward.
• Issuance timing: Daily points are credited to your account the next day.
• Usage order: The system uses points that are nearest to expiration first.

For example: If you receive 10 points on October 14, you must use them by October 29 or they will automatically expire.

Important Notes

1. You can start earning points when your daily trading volume reaches 400 USDT or your position exceeds 100 USDT.
2. Copy trading and trading bot volumes are excluded from calculation.
3. Futures Points and Alpha Points are independent reward systems and do not affect each other.
4. Market makers, enterprise accounts, and institutional users are not eligible for this program.
5. Only trading volume recognized by the platform is counted; self-trading, wash trading, or abnormal trades are excluded.
6. Points are for platform use only; they cannot be transferred, traded, or considered cash or token assets.
7. Gate reserves the right to interpret and modify points rules, usage scenarios, and validity. Any changes will be communicated via public announcements.
