Stablecoin Use Cases: Further Evolution
As the demand for stablecoins grows, Gate and World Liberty Financial (WLFI) are launching the USD1 Points Program, set to officially begin on August 25, 2025. This program not only introduces new, varied ways for users to participate, but it also turns the process of holding and using USD1 into real points and rewards. This makes stablecoin adoption more user-centric.
Points System and Calculation Method
Points accumulation starts at 16:00 (UTC+8) on August 25, 2025, with points distributed daily at 20:00 (UTC+8). The calculation covers participation data from the previous 24 hours. You can earn points through the following ways:
1. Trading Points
- Earn points by trading USD1 on the spot market (minimum daily trading volume: $500).
- Trading the B/USD1 pair earns a 50% bonus on points.
- Points are also rewarded for USD1 buy orders.
- When you complete any qualifying limit order transaction, your points are doubled.
2. Holding Points
- Earn points by holding at least 1,000 USD1 in your account.
- Participating in USD1 savings or Launchpad activities (minimum of 1,000 USD1) also qualifies for points.
WLFI determines the calculation rules, and Gate displays the relevant data. WLFI reserves the right to make final interpretations.
Exclusive Rewards for New Users
During the promotion, new users who accumulate 1,000 points will receive a $10 reward, awarded as an experience voucher. We limit rewards to 500 per day, available on a first-come, first-served basis. To claim the reward, users must click “Claim Now.” Rewards will be credited to your account within 7 business days.

Background on the USD1 Stablecoin
USD1, issued by WLFI, officially launched in April 2025. It is a fiat-backed stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the US dollar, issued and managed by BitGo Trust Company, in compliance with U.S. regulatory standards. USD1 provides users with a secure, compliant foundation for transactions, and this new points program highlights its growing utility.
