Iranian media: Iranian speaker to meet with Pakistani Prime Minister to discuss Iran-U.S. negotiation format

Golden Finance reports, April 11 — According to Iran's Islamic Republic Broadcasting on the 11th, Iran's Islamic Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani will hold talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Shabaz Sharif today to agree on the timing and format of negotiations between Iran and the United States.
Additionally, Tasnim News Agency reports that Iran will raise the issue of U.S. breach of commitments with the Pakistani Prime Minister during the talks.
Prerequisites for starting negotiations include unfreezing Iranian assets and a ceasefire in Lebanon. The U.S. has informed Pakistan that it agrees to these prerequisites and some other conditions for initiating negotiations.
The Iranian delegation plans to assess the U.S. stance and its fulfillment of commitments during the talks before deciding whether to negotiate with the U.S. side.
In another report, Tasnim News Agency states that if Iran and the U.S. can hold negotiations, the current plan is to start negotiations later on the 11th, which may last only one day.
