Egg prices remain stable with a slight increase

Market supply and demand are locked in a stalemate, with sales running only average. Currently, egg prices are close to breeding costs, leaving limited room for further decline. Demand is at the tail end of the off-season, and preparations for Qingming Festival stockpiling are gradually getting underway. In late March, egg prices still have room to rise. It is expected that egg prices in the near term will fluctuate while staying on the stronger side.

Today, the average egg price in Shandong, a main producing area, is 6.34 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday. In Hebei, the average egg price is 6.13 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday. In Guangdong, the average egg price is 7.27 yuan/kg, up 0.20 from yesterday. In Beijing, the average egg price is 6.6 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday. (Feed Industry Information Network)
