Hungarian Prime Minister: Europe Faces a Dual Crisis of Finance and Energy

People’s Financial News, April 8 — Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said on April 7 in Budapest during an event that the coming years will be full of challenges. Europe is facing the dual threats of a financial crisis and an energy crisis. If prompt changes are not made, Europe will become the loser in both of these crises. Regarding the Russia-Ukraine conflict, he said the EU is not seeking peace; instead, it keeps rolling out new sanctions against Russia, which is tantamount to self-destruction. Energy prices will skyrocket, and Europe’s energy reserves will be depleted. He called for an end to the Russia-Ukraine conflict and for addressing the energy crisis. (CCTV News)
