【OpenAI Ultraman: U.S. Defense Intelligence Agencies Will Not Use OpenAI's Services】On March 2nd, local time, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman announced that he has collaborated with the U.S. Department of Defense to add clauses to the agreement to clarify principles. Altman stated that AI systems must not be deliberately used for domestic surveillance of American citizens and nationals, and it is prohibited to intentionally track, monitor, or spy on American citizens and nationals, including personal or identifiable information obtained through commercial channels. The company advocates advancing work through democratic procedures, and major societal decisions should be made by the government. The company demands a voice in decision-making and contributions of professional insights at the table. Altman said that the Department of Defense confirmed that its subordinate intelligence agencies (such as the NSA) will not use the company's services. If services are to be provided to these agencies, existing contracts must be subsequently amended.
In the future, when using AI software… American citizens will not be monitored, but that doesn’t mean others aren’t being monitored. When using products, always remember to isolate risks. Our own products have always been monitoring users, whether in communication or other aspects… we have no privacy. Privacy regulations are stricter in Europe, so there’s no need to discuss privacy within the system.
Trump’s retaliatory actions are about to begin… The general expectation is that the fighting will end in about a month. I have no good feelings toward Iran. When I saw Iran’s leadership buying plastic keychains for children to hang on, and children going in batches to step on landmines, claiming they will go to heaven after death. In a modern society, it’s truly inhumane to let minors do these things. Perhaps in their eyes, children are no different from pigs, dogs, cattle, or livestock. Currently, Iran’s indiscriminate attacks on neighboring countries suggest that Trump, as president, preemptively clearing mines was a wise choice. That old man is straightforward, always keeps his word, and his actions mainly revolve around prioritizing American interests. An old man in his eighties, honestly, his health and energy are quite good.
Many people’s focus has shifted to AI… but they overlook the critical role of Musk’s Starlink in warfare. The images in use are definitely clearer than those leaked out; the leaked images have already reached 0.5 meters. According to this logic… Starlink can even see a person’s facial expressions. The comprehensive suppression of communication signals… in the eyes of Americans, Iran is like someone running around naked. There’s no suspense about America winning; it’s just a matter of time. Trump definitely doesn’t want oil prices to break 100—once it hits 100, there will be no real rate cuts.
Are people still worried about an AI bubble? After these two conflicts, AI’s value in military applications is extremely high. All cutting-edge technology is first used by the military.
