February 25, 2026, the price increase threshold rises sharply! The index is a roller coaster!

Today, the strongest sectors in the market remain non-ferrous metals and chemicals. On the non-ferrous side, recent news from Trump indicates accelerated strategic gold reserve purchases, with key mineral prices rising. Over the past few days, the market trend can be summarized as a price increase line, whether it’s chemicals (TDI, phosphorus), non-ferrous metals (precious metals, rare earths), or computing power (CPO, optical fiber).

I selected some rare and precious metals, including China Rare Earth, Luoping Zinc & Electric, Vanadium Titanium Co., Yunnan Chuye, China Silver Group, China Tin, Shengtun Mining, and others. Among these, Yunnan Chuye performed the strongest, opening high on the bid, then adding volume to recover the price, but unfortunately, the volume wasn’t enough, so I didn’t choose to go in. Later, China Silver and China Tin also followed this pattern. The main focus was on Northern Rare Earth, which caused me to miss the listing of China Tin. In the end, Northern Rare Earth surged and directly broke through, so I went all in on Northern Rare Earth.

Yesterday, I didn’t open a position, so I still have some expectations for today’s market. The overseas markets performed well last night, and I initially thought the tech sector would show some strength today, but it didn’t. In the first half of the market, volume and sentiment were decent, but after the opening in the afternoon, the index started to decline. There was a lot of stock selling in the afternoon, including Northern Rare Earth, but fortunately, the market closed with a relatively stable finish.
