The three major U.S. stock indices all closed higher, with Google rising over 4%

On February 20th local time, the three major U.S. stock indices all closed higher. The Nasdaq rose 0.9%, up 1.51% for the week; the S&P 500 increased 0.69%, up 1.07% for the week; the Dow Jones gained 0.47%, up 0.25% for the week. Large-cap technology stocks mostly rose, with Google up over 4%, Netflix and Amazon up over 2%, Apple, Nvidia, and Meta up over 1%, and Tesla slightly higher; Microsoft slightly declined.
