Gate News message, April 29 — The U.S. government will issue limited-edition commemorative passports to mark the nation’s 250th anniversary. The passports will feature a portrait of President Trump and his gold-colored signature on the interior pages, with “United States of America” displayed at the top of the cover.
The first batch of approximately 25,000 to 30,000 passports will be distributed starting around July 4. These commemorative passports are available only to individuals applying in person at the Washington passport office; once supplies are exhausted, they will no longer be available. Applicants using online services or other regional offices will receive standard passports. The initiative is part of the broader 250th anniversary commemoration activities, marking the first time a sitting U.S. president’s portrait has appeared on an American passport.
