According to on-chain data, investment firm Multicoin Capital staked 1.96 million HYPE tokens today, valued at approximately $83.9 million. The transaction also confirmed Multicoin’s connection to the “Galaxy” wallet cluster, which holds 4.11 million HYPE (roughly $176 million).
Multicoin has now become one of the three largest HYPE investors on-chain, with total holdings of 7.023 million tokens, of which 4.189 million (approximately $179 million) are staked. Meanwhile, the Hyperfoundation unstaked 100,000 HYPE tokens (approximately $4.1 million), reportedly to cover operational expenses.
