AI Cannot Solve Inflation Problem, St. Louis Fed President Cautions

According to St. Louis Federal Reserve President Alberto Musalem, in prepared remarks, policymakers should not rely on artificial intelligence-driven productivity gains to address current inflation pressures. "It would be very dangerous to count on higher future productivity growth to solve our inflation problem," Musalem said at a conference in Reykjavik, Iceland.
