About Recovery Right (RRT)
Recovery Right Tokens (RRTs) sind digitale Token, die eine beschränkte, bedingte Verpflichtung der Bitfinex-Gruppe belegen. RRTs sind nominelle Gutschriften, die ausschließlich von der Rückgewinnung der Verluste durch die Bitfinex-Gruppe abhängen, die während eines Diebstahls im August 2016 entstanden sind. Sie sind allen anderen Ansprüchen gegen die Bitfinex-Gruppe, einschließlich Ansprüchen im Zusammenhang mit den Verlusten, nachrangig.
RRTs wurden ursprünglich als Anreiz für BFX-Token-Inhaber geschaffen, die in Eigenkapital umwandelten. Im Falle einer Rückgewinnung gestohlener Bitcoins von Bitfinex sollten zunächst die BFX-Token-Inhaber zurückgezahlt werden, gefolgt von einer Verteilung der verbleibenden Bitcoins unter den RRT-Inhabern. Seit dem 3. April 2017 wurden alle ausstehenden BFX-Token entweder in Eigenkapital umgewandelt oder zurückgezahlt.
