Odaily Planet Daily News US-Präsident Trump sagte in den sozialen Medien: "Die südkoreanische Nationalversammlung hat die mit den Vereinigten Staaten getroffene Vereinbarung nicht erfüllt. Südkoreas Präsident Lee Jae-myung und ich haben am 30. Juli 2025 eine Vereinbarung getroffen, die beiden Ländern zugutekam, und diese Bedingungen während meines Besuchs in Südkorea am 29. Oktober 2025 bekräftigt. Warum hat die südkoreanische Nationalversammlung das Abkommen bisher nicht genehmigt? Da die koreanische Nationalversammlung noch kein historisches Handelsabkommen zwischen uns verabschiedet hat und das ihre Macht ist, kündige ich hiermit eine Erhöhung der gegenseitigen Zölle auf koreanische Autos, Holz, Medikamente und alle anderen Güter von 15 % auf 25 % an. ”
