Held a long position for a week, and finally reaped the harvest today. Recently I'll still focus on short-term longs, but if the price rallies too quickly I'll look for opportunities to short. The market volatility is still as unpredictable as ever, so we should take profits early when we make them and control our position size to manage risk. When a major trend comes, we can deploy part of the profits to hold longer positions. Or use small liquidations as stop losses, and consistently take profits on a regular basis.
