由「華爾街神算子」Tom Lee 擔任董事長的上市公司 Bitmine Immersion，過去一年積極囤積以太幣作為公司資產配置，卻在最近的加密貨幣市場急挫中遭遇重創。隨著幣價最新一輪下跌，Bitmine 手中龐大的以太幣部位已出現超過 66 億美元的帳面虧損。
根據追蹤平台 Dropstab 最新數據，Bitmine 上周再度加碼買進逾 4 萬枚以太幣，總持幣量增至約 424 萬枚以太幣，約占目前全網以太幣流通量的 3.5% 。
然而，隨著整體加密貨幣市場走弱，以太幣今（2）日更一度跌破 2,200 美元，導致 Bitmine 所持加密貨幣價值，已從 10 月高點接近 1,400 億美元，滑落至目前約 900 億美元，帳面價值大幅縮水。
Bitmine 激進的財務策略再次成為市場議論的焦點。雖然在本輪週期中，將加密貨幣納入公司資產負債表已成趨勢，但過於集中的曝險在市場反轉、流動性枯竭時，往往會放大波動風險。
市場分析指出，這次殺盤並非單純的基本面轉弱，而是由衍生品市場的「連鎖清算」所驅動。當以太幣價格持續下探，大量合約部位因保證金不足而被強制平倉，進一步加劇市場賣壓，形成「下跌 — 清算 — 再下跌」的惡性循環。
