NBW’s BTCD Taproot security fixes from the audit are done, the team advanced talks with an external wallet provider for BTCD Taproot support, and a PG Chain bug that blocked ELA withdrawals to mainchain was fixed.

NBW's BTCD loans are now more flexible: a new “extend loan” feature is built and tested. Taproot support is getting closer after deeper order testing, and an Issuer service bug was fixed. EE wallet behavior improved when transaction sends fail.

NBW’s BTCD is being upgraded to support Bitcoin Taproot, enabling the BTCD app to handle Taproot BTC addresses. Elastos Essentials v3.2.13 is also live with custom BTC fee control.

NBW with real BTCFi progress this week🔥BTCD is being prepared for a Taproot based upgrade, 180 day staking now works in BTCD app, and upcoming PG Chain\'s BPoS block production was tested through failure, DAO only fallback + recovery to DAO plus BPoS➡️

A multi-node outage disrupted block production and forced a temporary PoW-only fallback. Chain upgrade for BPoS validators is required.
