Sui has announced a strategic partnership with Figure Certificate Company (FCC, a subsidiary of Figure Technology Solutions, Inc.) to launch YLDS natively on the Sui blockchain. YLDS is an SEC-registered yield-bearing security. Sui designed this effort to expand access to regulated financial products within the Sui ecosystem. The announcement follows Figure’s recent Nasdaq listing (FIGR), highlighting Figure’s renewed focus on Sui.
YLDS is an SEC-registered debt security supported by short-term U.S. Treasury bills and repurchase agreements, delivering a yield of SOFR minus 35 bps. Investors accrue interest daily and receive monthly payouts. It is available to both individual and institutional investors, enabling instant peer-to-peer transfers and 24/7 liquidity. YLDS offers a compliant and convenient way to earn yield on USD stablecoins. Holders can use fiat on-ramps and off-ramps and yield-bearing digital dollars directly.

Enabling DeepBook Margin Trading
The initial phase of the partnership focuses on DeepBook, Sui’s core liquidity layer and largest SUI trading platform. DeepBook will roll out a margin trading system using isolated stablecoin lending pools to generate revenue from trading, lending fees, and liquidations. YLDS will serve as the foundational yield layer. Stablecoins can be natively converted into YLDS on Sui, maximizing capital efficiency.
