To further enhance the on-chain trading experience, Gate DEX is launching the “Gas-Free Privilege Month” event, offering users comprehensive gas-free trading support throughout the event period.
By integrating the Gas Station feature, both new and existing users can enjoy gas-free privileges for sending, authorizing, and trading during the designated timeframe, effectively lowering the barrier to on-chain transactions.
The event runs from February 10, 2026 to February 25, 2026 (UTC+8).
Gas fees have always been a critical resource that users must prepare in advance when performing on-chain operations. Insufficient gas can cause transactions to fail or be interrupted, negatively impacting the overall user experience.
As on-chain trading becomes more common, reducing the gas burden is now a major priority for platforms seeking to optimize user experience. Gas-free privileges allow users to send assets or trade more smoothly.
Newly created or newly imported wallet accounts on Gate DEX are eligible for gas-free privileges covering multiple operational scenarios.
New users receive three gas-free opportunities: one for sending tokens, one for authorization, and one for trading, enabling them to complete their first on-chain operations smoothly.
To ensure fairness, only one new wallet account per device is eligible for these privileges.
For users with existing wallet accounts, Gate DEX offers ongoing support. Each month, the system replenishes gas-free privileges for these accounts, including one gas-free authorization and one gas-free trade.
To prevent duplicate claims, only one wallet account per device may receive these privileges each month, based on the first account to use a gas-free privilege during that month.
Beyond the basic privileges, users who top up the Gas Station with at least 50 USDT in a single transaction instantly receive extra gas-free privileges, including one for authorization and one for trading.
These privileges can be combined with other activities, further reducing the cost of on-chain operations.
This event uses physical device IDs to identify and restrict participation, ensuring each device can only receive the corresponding privileges and preventing multiple accounts from claiming benefits repeatedly.
The platform also monitors abnormal registration and trading activity. If any violations are detected, participation eligibility will be revoked.
Participation is straightforward. Users simply log in to the Gate App wallet page and enter the Gas Station to join the gas-free event.
If you encounter language or connectivity issues, upgrade to the latest app version to ensure full functionality.
The platform also reminds users to participate in on-chain trading responsibly and remain aware of market volatility risks.
As on-chain applications continue to expand, transaction costs and entry barriers are key factors affecting user participation. By combining gas-free privileges with the Gas Station feature, Gate DEX further reduces the cost for users to enter the on-chain ecosystem.
With ongoing improvements to the core user experience, on-chain trading will become more convenient, accelerating the adoption of Web3 applications among a broader user base.
